Giardino di Greta e Sofia is an exclusive retreat in the heart of the Iblei Mountains. Our two villas — Greta and Sofia — have been designed to offer you the utmost privacy and the comfort of a home, with the beauty and tranquility of the Sicilian countryside all around.
Each villa is completely independent, with its own entrance, garden and access to the pool. Here you won't find the crowds of a tourist village, but the serenity of a place designed for those who truly want to disconnect from everyday life.

Booking conditions
Below you will find all the useful information about booking, payment, cancellation and everything you need to organize your stay simply and transparently:
Booking and confirmation
Send us a request via our online form or by e-mail. We will reply within 24 hours with availability and a detailed offer.
The booking is considered confirmed upon receipt of a deposit of 30% of the total amount, to be paid within 7 days of confirmation. The remaining balance is due 30 days before arrival.
Payment methods
Payment is made exclusively by bank transfer (SEPA). Bank details will be provided together with the booking confirmation.
Cancellation and refund
We understand that plans can change. Here are our cancellation conditions:
- Up to 60 days before arrival: free cancellation, full refund of deposit
- 59 to 30 days before arrival: 50% refund of deposit
- Less than 30 days before arrival: deposit is non-refundable
- No-show: the full amount of the stay will be charged
In case of early departure, the unused stay will not be refunded. We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance to protect yourself against unforeseen events.
Travel insurance and cancellation protection
For your peace of mind, we recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance (Reiserücktrittsversicherung / Stornoschutz) covering:
- Cancellation due to illness or injury
- Early trip interruption
- Flight delay or loss
- Unforeseen events and force majeure
We suggest checking offers from major insurers such as Europäische Reiseversicherung, Allianz Travel or HanseMerkur, who offer specific policies for villa stays.
Adequate insurance guarantees you maximum peace of mind when planning your holiday.
Check-in and Check-out
Check-in: from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Check-out: by 10:00 AM
Arrivals and departures at different times can be arranged in advance subject to availability. Shortly before your arrival, we will send you detailed directions with GPS coordinates and instructions to reach the villa easily.
Security deposit
Upon arrival, a security deposit of €300 is required as a guarantee against any damage. The deposit will be returned in full at check-out, after inspection of the villa.
The deposit can be paid in cash or by bank transfer.
Tourist tax
The municipal tourist tax is set by the Municipality of Chiaramonte Gulfi and is not included in the price of the villa. The amount will be communicated at the time of booking and must be paid directly on site.
Children up to 12 years are generally exempt from the tourist tax. For updated information on the amount, please contact us.
Pets
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in our villas. This choice is made out of respect for all guests and the care of the interiors and garden.
